Project Overview

Nutramax Laboratories turned to JDA to market Cosamin® Muscle & Joint, a supplement aimed at “Weekend Workaholics” who refuse to let aches and pains hold them back. Our mission was clear: create compelling video and photography content for Amazon placements that showcases the product’s benefits while seamlessly aligning with the style of previous video spots.

Approach

We focused on relatable, everyday moments—finishing weekend chores and enjoying a day at the lake—to demonstrate how Cosamin frees people to fully embrace life. Both spots follow a similar sequence: showing painful motion, introducing the product in its setting, highlighting newfound mobility, and emphasizing the emotional connection made possible by pain relief, and end with a striking product shot.

Execution

From initial research to storyboarding, talent and wardrobe selection, and on-set production in Michigan to set the scene, every detail was aligned to showcase physical motion and genuine connections. In post production, animations created illustrate the product’s scientific benefits and the “strings of discomfort” breaking, creating visually powerful stories. The final deliverables—two 30-second commercials and 15-second cutdowns [+100 still images: will nuance copy when we finalize spots]—bring the product’s benefits to life through storytelling, creating engaging content to stand out in a crowded marketplace.
